We are a small, independent, museum run by the Heugh Gun Battery Trust, Charity no. 1106882.
Our mission is to transport visitors back to the date and location of the UK’s only First World War battlefield site, and to give a flavour of the role of the Battery during the Second World War. We use the site and its collections to inform, educate, and encourage understanding of these pivotal points in history.
Our Museum Manager is Diane Stephens.
Our Museum Assistant is Andy Stephens.
