The Heugh Battery Museum is fully dog-friendly throughout, dogs are welcome in our cafe, too.  Dogs must be kept on a lead.

All visitors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking at the Heugh Battery Museum is free however spaces are limited.

If you would like to make a donation to the museum during your visit, please consider Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.  Thank you.

Opening times 2020 

We are currently closed due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

We will be commemorating the Bombardment of the Hartlepools on the 16th December with displays outside the museum and will fire our 25 pdr saluting gun at 08.10 to mark the beginning of the Bombardment in 1914.
